Hi Mike. Sorry to say, I thought you let yourself down with this one. I first listened to it as I drove around the Somme battlefields. I very nearly drove off the road in anger with some of Pat Gang’s ill-informed comments on the British army. I’ve been listening to it again just to check that I wasn’t overreacting, but no, it’s as bad as I thought.
Now look, I know that you can’t legislate for what your guests say and they’re entitled to their opinion. But you know enough to not let nonsense go unchallenged and I was disappointed that you didn’t make any attempt to push back.
Anyway, I love your podcast and appreciate everything you’re doing and the hard work and expense that you put into it, so it won’t stop me listening. Just remember, though, that you have a lot of British supporters who may not take kindly to their ancestors being strongly disrespected.
Best regards, Kevin
